A delightful trip to the De Young Museum resulted in this collage. I didn't manage to get into the Impressionist special exhibition, but I remember seeing the beautiful paintings in Paris a long time ago. What wonderful dreamy colors and brush strokes. *Love*

We all need a little magic in our lives. Experiment, laugh, be silly. Imagine Thumbelina as a flower, exploding in happiness as she blooms from a lotus pad. Makes no sense, but its magical and fun non-the-less!

Amaryllis

This is a close-up view or perspective of my amaryllis plant - when it was flowering a few months ago. This painting now sits in my bathroom and brightens it up with its vibrant orange hues.

I was sitting in my backyard, gathering inspiration for my next painting. And I noticed this dragonfly hovering above me. Then more came:) This painting captures their movement, making circles above my head. What a lovely sight they were!

This is the second painting in the "Sitting" series. Here was the first painting: I will sit through this storm.

If you look carefully, there are two people sitting together in this new painting. The second person is holding the first from behind him/her. The redder colour scheme represents many things - passion, tension, fire, the many things that couples face, and extreme feelings of both good and bad. Most importantly is that we can sit through anything together; if we stay united and breathe through it all with patience, love and compassion.
